Suzanne works from her studio in Eastbourne where she lives, painting in oil, acrylic and making works on paper using words and images that conduct a continuing conversation about land connections and identity in Aotearoa.
One such large painting acknowledging the gift of Tongariro National Park in 1887 to the Crown by Ngati Tuwhareto is permanently displayed in the Tuwharetoa Gallery beside the Deed Of Gift in Taupo Museum
As Artist Member of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts of for four years Council Member of The Wellington Artists' Gallery Trust and member of Watercolour NZ, she regularly exhibits with each. She has a history of involvement with national and international groups, solo and selected exhibitions that include the Benson & Hedges and Norsewear Art Award Exhibitions and her work is held in private and corporate collections both here in New Zealand and overseas.
Her work Ahi Kaa Roa was selected of the biennial Wellington Regional Arts 2014 Review.
